OTC Eczema Treatment - What Is the Best OTC Eczema Treatment Available?

Do you suffer from the dry, red, itchy, scaly, flaky and often painful skin condition known as eczema? If so, you’re not alone. There are millions of people all over the world who are in the same position as you. They continue to follow their doctors advice and use creams and ointments that are prescribed to them, but never get results. That’s because these creams and ointments only treat the symptoms, rather than help eliminate and prevent eczema altogether.

Due to this, more people are turning to other forms of treatment to help get their eczema under control.

Over the Counter Treatments.

Let’s face it – There are a number of over the counter eczema treatments out on the market, but it can be tough to find the one eczema remedy that really works. Rather than try to use one specific treatment until you see results, why not try a variety of treatments so you can find out what works best for you?

A good OTC eczema treatment is something that will be effective at both relieving symptoms of eczema and helping it remain under control. Typically, when OTC eczema treatments are combined are usually when the best results are achieved.

With that said, here is an excellent OTC eczema treatment combination that is safe and effective in treating eczema.

Oatmeal Cream and Epsom Salt

Epsom salt can be found at any grocery store. To use it, simply dissolve one cup into a warm tub of water. Immerse the affected skin for 20 minutes. This will help remove any dead skin on the surface and will prepare your skin for the oatmeal cream, which is the next step in this treatment process.

You can make your own oatmeal cream or purchase it at a store near you. To make your own, you need to get 2 cups of raw oatmeal flakes (ground up, if possible) and mix with a couple tablespoons of water. This will form a paste that you can apply on your skin. Apply it after soaking your skin in Epsom salt and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash with cold water and pat dry.

This is the best OTC eczema treatment that has been proven to work. Of course, it may or may not work for everyone. The key is to try a number of different OTC eczema treatments and discover what works best for you and your skin. Most importantly – never give up! You can win the battle against eczema.
